I got a small bunch of units and dealt with them very quickly, but nothing since. Seems these folks might be still in development mode because they sure as hell are not churning out any work to the masses who are waiting for them!

Greetings,

Thanks for checking on the work units and volunteering for the project! We are very grateful for your kind support!

The nature of this project is such that we do not have a consistent level of work-load for our volunteers. We are not the direct producers of the jobs or the consumers of the results. We are like a gateway for connecting the scholars and researchers from the academia with the resources volunteered by the community. It is up to the researchers/scholars as to when they would prefer to submit jobs to BOINC@TACC. We are actively mobilizing the community to take advantage of BOINC@TACC and are hopeful of a consistent pipeline of jobs with the growth in the number of researchers/scholars interested in BOINC@TACC.

Best wishes and regards,
The BOINC@TACC Team

I got an email today about TACC starting back up. I didn't get any WUs right away, but maybe they were all given out already. Check your spam folders. Email message only. No message sent via BOINC manager notice tab.

Exact copy and paste of text of email I got is :

"Dear Volunteers,

We are happy to announce that BOINC@TACC is back into production. Also, we would like to urge you to remove and re-attach the project from BOINC manager since the keys have been changed. Looking forward to see you all at BOINC@TACC.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Thanks for checking in. We maintain the infrastructure and control the access for researchers to run applications on BOINC@TACC but which application will be run by researcher or how frequent, is beyond our reach. So WUs might vary from time to time. Also we are still in process to notifying the users that we are back up so you can expect some work in future.
Regards

Greetings,

We looked into the issue and may have fixed it on Friday but we will confirm on Monday after doing some testing.

Thanks,
